Many desktop
and workstation models have an optional smartcard-enabled keyboard,
which can be purchased together with the desktop or workstation
from the PC manufacturer. Also, several leading keyboard manufacturers
(eg, Samsung, Silitek, Cherry, Keytronix) offer such keyboards.
Certain manufacturers, such as Acer, Legend
and Founder PC, bundle PlatinumSecret
(basic smart card security
software from 360 Degree Web) as a standard feature on their
smartcard-enabled notebook and desktop computers.
